Our Team
Dr. Ehab Hanna
Veterinarian/Practice Owner
Dr. Hanna has been practicing veterinary medicine for many years. He started out in Egypt taking care of large animals and has now been practicing in Canada for over 17 years. Before opening The Collegeway Animal Hospital, he worked in an after-hours facility and gained ample experience with emergency cases. Dr. Hanna enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine especially surgery, internal medicine and emergencies. He stays current with annual continuing education courses and seminars. Both pets and pet parents love his calm, compassionate and gentle manner. Dr. Hanna spends his spare time with his lovely wife, 3 beautiful children, 2-year-old cock-a-poo Sugar and pumping iron at the gym!

Kiera B.
Practice Manager
Kiera is our Practice Manager Extraordinaire! She grew up on a farm, went on to study Theatre Arts and Thanatology, and then her love of animals brought her back into the veterinary field. Kiera’s previous experiences include working with an exotic animal rescue, supporting client care at a 24-hour veterinary care facility and she is now the Practice Manager for both The Collegeway Animal Hospital and our sister hospital, Arc Animal Hospital. Kiera is always looking out for our team, our clients and our patients to make sure that everyone is supported and provided with the best care possible (not to mention she is also great at IT support)! When not at work, Kiera enjoys having wine with her cats and geocaching with her dogs.
Monika S.
Client Care Representative
Monika is the friendly face of The Collegeway Animal Hospital, and she loves saying hello to all the people, dogs and cats that come through our door! She is our Client Care Representative, although Milo, our clinic cat, would insist that she is his assistant. Monika and Milo share the same desk space, and you may find them bickering every so often, but Monika is ultimately Milo’s emotional support human and it is very apparent when Monika is not in the building! Monika has always loved working with animals and previously worked at a dog grooming facility. Her goal is to go back to school to become an RVT. When Monika is not at work, she has her hands full with her dog named Charlie and her recently adopted kitten named Felix!
Vanessa G.
Registered Veterinary Technician
Vanessa is our Superstar Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)! She joined The Collegeway Animal hospital family in the fall of 2014. Vanessa graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Seneca College in 2007 shortly after completing her studies for animal care at Sheridan College in 2003, finally fulfilling her childhood dream- which consisted of a future career caring for animals. As we are sure you have noticed, Vanessa loves to educate clients and is always ready to greet and fuss over your cute pet when they walk through our doors. When she is not at the hospital caring for your pet, Vanessa is busy with her own lovable aspiring Instagram famous pug, Cheech.
Cassidy J.
Registered Veterinary Technician
Cassidy is our cat whisperer Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)! She graduated from the RVT program at Seneca College in 2018, and joined the Collegeway Animal Hospital family in January 2020. She is very passionate about her role at the hospital, if there is ever a patient who needs urgent attention, you can bet that Cassidy will be there to help them. Cassidy is also our resident cat whisperer and she can calm and soothe almost all of our feline patients. No ‘cattitude’ is too big for Cassidy to handle! When she is not at the clinic, Cassidy likes to spend her downtime solving puzzles!
Kristen M.
Veterinary Technician
Kristen graduated from the Technician program at Sheridan College, and is soon to be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)! She joined The Collegeway Animal Hospital in July of 2020, and you can find her working at both The Collegeway Animal Hospital and Arc Animal Hospital. She supports Kiera, as our Assistant-Manager, and helps with medical administrative tasks such as keeping our hospital up-to-date with the College Regulations and letting us know about the newest veterinary innovations. When she is not at work, Kristen spends her downtime with her 8-year-old kitty named Chico. Kristen also loves to create and cook new recipes from scratch (no Googling)!
Lindsay L.
Veterinary Technician
Lindsay graduated from the Technician program at Seneca College in 2021, and is soon to be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)! She joined Arc Animal Hospital as a student in 2021, fell in love with the team and clients, and then decided to stay with us full-time! You can usually find Lindsay working at Arc Animal Hospital (she’s the. face of our social media there), but she also works with our Collegeway team 1-2 days a week! Lindsay loves being a technician and being able to work with our clients to provide the best preventative healthcare for their pets. Lindsay also loves researching new ways to enrich and improve our pets’ health! Lindsay has a Russian Blue tabby named Wolfgang (Wolfy), and a Collie/Sheltie mix named Charlie. When she is not at the clinic, Lindsay likes to hike, swim, play sports and travel!
Shahad K.
ACA/Technician Student
Shahad graduated from Sheridan College’s Animal Care program in 2017 and after completing her program field placement here at The Collegeway Animal hospital, she officially became part of our family. Her ambition didn’t stop there! She is currently an RVT student at Seneca, and working part-time with us until she graduates in 2023. Shahad loves working with all sorts of animals but has a special interest in reptiles and arachnids. Shahad shares her home with Taz, her Chocolate Labrador and on her days off, she likes to spend time with family, road trips, and enjoy nature hikes with her dog.
Milo
Mischief Maker
Milo is our domestic shorthair troublemaker that keeps all the staff and clients entertained. He loves to be the first one to greet anybody that comes in door! You can often find him looking over animals in our hospital, making sure everybody receives his loving care.
