Dr. Ehab Hanna
Veterinarian/Practice Owner
Dr. Hanna has been practicing veterinary medicine for many years. He started out in Egypt taking care of large animals. He has been practicing in Canada for over 17 years. The past years he has been in an afterhours facility and is well trained in dealing with emergency cases. Dr. Hanna enjoys all aspects in veterinary medicine especially surgery, internal medicine and emergency. He stays current with yearly continuing education courses and seminars. Both pets and pet parents love his calm, compassionate and gentle manner. Dr. Hanna spends his spare time with his lovely wife, 3 beautiful children, 2 year old cock-a-poo Sugar and pumping iron at the gym!
Jessica Malodzinski
Veterinary Assistant/ Receptionist
Jessica completed her highschool Co-op here at The Collegeway Animal Hospital. After Graduating from the Veterinary Assistant program at Northern College she joined the team in 2015. Jessica works full time with us and helps keep the clinic running smoothly. With her compassion for animals she insures that our pets are happy and comfortable while in the hospital. She has a 5 year old Cocker Spaniel named Colby and a 1.5 year old cat named Corona. When Jessica is not at the clinic you can find her hiking the trails, at the dog park and playing sports.
Vanessa Grandis
Registered Veterinary Technician/Receptionist
Vanessa is our Superstar Registered Veterinary Technician! (or RVT for short) She joined The Collegeway Animal hospital family in the fall of 2014. Vanessa graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Seneca College in 2007 shortly after completing her studies for animal care at Sheridan College in 2003, finally fulfilling her childhood dream- which consisted of a future career caring for animals. As we are sure you have noticed, Vanessa loves to educate clients and is always ready to greet and fuss over your cute pet when they walk through our doors. When she is not at the hospital caring for your pet, Vanessa is busy with her own mischievous “diva” cat, Abby.
Shahad Khalaf
ACA/ Receptionist
Shahad graduated from Sheridan College Animal Care program in 2017. After completing her program field placement here at The Collegeway Animal hospital, she officially became part of our family. She loves working with all sorts of animals but has a special interest in reptiles and arachnids. Shahad shares her home with Taz, her new Chocolate Labrador puppy, 2 tarantulas and Bearded Dragon, Diego. On her days off, she likes to spend time with family, road trips, and enjoy nature with her puppy.
Milo
Mischief Maker
Milo is our 5 year old Domestic Shorthair that keeps all the staff and animals company. He loves to be the first one to greet anybody that comes in door!
